Beginning Jewelry
Students will learn basic jewelry-making techniques. Some of the skills covered will be making jump rings and assembling them, making clasps, piercing, sawing, filing, sanding, buffing, patina, soldering and rivets. In class, we will make a wire-wrapped bangle, pin, pierced pendant, sweat-soldered pendant or keychain, rivet piece, and chainmaille earrings.
Copper and brass materials to complete class projects will be provided. After class project is completed, additional materials will be available for purchase. Class size is limited to 8, so register early!
